Former F4Wonline contributor Michael Coughlin has launched a new website, HalfGuarded.com, covering MMA and general entertainment topics.
Right around midnight central time Coughlin made his announcement, tweeting out to his followers and imploring them to “PLEASE visit just once and look around. Tell everyone you know.”
The site’s top story is one looking at UFC fighter Conor McGregor.
It has long been speculated as to what Coughlin’s plans would be after being ousted from F4Wonline following a now infamous blowout with ex-F4W contributor, and current PWTorch staffer Todd Martin.
With a slot on the new site marked for “Podcasts” in the menu, speculation now turns toward whether Coughlin plans to resurrect his former F4Wonline podcast, Five Star Radio.
Those shows had suddenly disappeared from the F4W podcast archive back in May, with Coughlin at the time suggesting there was a reason, though he would offer no details at the time.
As a podcast host and MMA analyst for F4Wonline, Coughlin was formerly billed by the site as “one of the best analysts in the MMA game today” providing “legendary” pre-show previews.
While time will certainly tell, the expectation is that he will now bring his fight analysis, pre-show previews and unique coverage of MMA to his new site along with, it turns out, a broader array of entertainment topics.
What this space for more on this story as it develops.
The site is awful and has no entertainment value. Coughlin is disturbed and not funny.
“It has long been speculated as to what Coughlin’s plans would be after being ousted from F4Wonline following a now infamous blowout with ex-F4W contributor, and current PWTorch staffer Todd Martin.”
Both are still listed as Editorial Contributes in the JULY 3 edition of Figure Four Weekly. WTF that’s just lazy F4W.
Well, have you read the F4W lately? The whole thing is garbage.
there’s already a Five Star Radio episode up I believe
I listened to 20 minutes of his show and I dont get the draw. It was the drizzling shits.
